Here are some sweet, sweet scans from William Wallace Denslow’s original illustrations for the first printing of The Wizard of Oz. Man, oh man, do I love that style of artwork. In fact, I do believe I’ll be tracking down a reprint for the home library. ‘Cause I’m a little worried that current printings probably have Dorothy in a midriff top and a miniskirt, not to mention coated in cosmetics.
