nike_leave-nothing.jpgHere’s a slick couple of spots for Nike that you’ve probably caught on the airwaves. While normally I’d eschew posting commercials of this variety (I tend to refer to most of Nike’s ad work as ‘sports-porn’), but these spots stand out for two reasons.

One, they’re directed by Michael Mann (who coincidentally enough got his start making commercials alongside gents like Ridley Scott and Alan Parker), but (and more importanly for me) the spots were worked on by no less than the talented perennial Transbuddha pal (and sometimes contributor) Andy Cochrane (of the AV Club).

Behold ‘Leave Nothing‘ and ‘Asylum‘ in glorious high quality Quicktime. You can read more about the production of Leave Nothing at The AV Club blog, and Feed has a good rundown on ‘Asylum’.
