LitFuse hits a two-fer with their short, ‘Ignis Solus‘ as it’s an improved bit of machinma (unique already) and the first Team Fortress 2 short not made by Valve itself. It’s just gorgeous to look at (though that kudos needs to go to the TF2 designers. Seriously, the game looks that good), and while it may have a number of visual jokes that only make sense to long time players of the franchise, it’s still a clever bit of filmmaking.

And yes, this gorgeous piece of machinma was made using Steam’s in-game movie maker.

It wasn’t made using the ingame movie maker, was made with Fraps and Premiere with additional help from After Effects.
