What the Writer's Strike means to you

TelevisionThe LA Times has a good breakdown regarding how the WGA strike is going to affect the TV landscape for the foreseeable future. For the most part, shows will run interrupted for the better part of the season, though there are more than a few series that only have a partial season complete. Mostly I’m just mad that The Daily Show is going into repeats immediately, as the show remains a valuable source of news for a good many people.

Of course, there’s the concern that a prolonged strike will lead to networks relying more and more on ‘reality’ television to fill the gaps. Ugh.

If this effects the return of Futurama, I will plan some most terrible vengeance on the jerks who caused this strike.

You should wreck terrible vengeance on them anyway. Were the WGA not getting so royally screwed out of their due, this wouldn’t have happened.

    Oh ho ho ho…..

No worries. I realized that this will definitely mess with my watching of Dexter. Now I have no choice but to retaliate……or just send a nasty letter.
