Jazz lost an icon on Monday and the world lost one of the finest musicians of the age, as piano maestro Oscar Peterson passed away at the age of 82. I’ll confess to a limited palette for jazz in general, but Peterson was a guy I was always willing to listen to.

So g’night Oscar. Please enjoy this performance from the 1977 Montreal Jazz festival in which Peterson, Ray Brown & Niels Pedersen take on ‘You Look Good to Me’
