If you’re looking for a good puzzle addiction, but don’t much care for Sudoku (like me), Picross might be just what you’re looking for. Fans of Minesweeper will find the gameplay familiar, as the object is to figure out which tiles in a column are to be filled in, and which are to be left blank.
This version of Picross has a couple things going for it: One, it’s Wii-friendly, so you can play it via the Wii’s browser. That’s just cool. Second, you can design and share your own puzzles, as you can see from the image. Lastly, the makers have put a book version of the best puzzles for kids together, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the awesome Child’s Play charity.
Get on it, already.
