Experiences of an English SoldierI’m going to go ahead and say that WW1: Experiences of an English Soldier may well be the best use of a blog, ever. Through it, we experience war through the eyes of William Henry Bonser Lamin, whose letters home (along with corresponding battalion entries) are being posted by his grandson some 90 years later to the day.

What a phenomenally cool idea.

I would have to agree. What a great idea and an amazingly powerful Blog. Just going back and seeing scans of the postcards it really makes history come alive. There has to be throngs of history teachers just drooling over this. I passed it on to the teachers in my school and the reaction was astounding. Thanks for the heads up.
