A brief musical interlude with Earth Wind and Fire

Whilst I hazard the treacherous path of dumping my interim video card* for a much more capable (yet still sadly obsolete) model, I’ll leave you in the capable hands of Earth Wind and Fire circa 1978 as they tear up their iconic ass-shaker, ‘September‘.

So if I blow up my rig, at least you’ll have a sweet tune to get you through the rest of the day. If you’re wanting some chuckle with your shuffle, I can only suggest checking out Dutch West’s love letter to the tune.

*While dealing with hardcore hardware junkies is trying under the best of circumstances, just imagine the smug reaction when you ask for an AGP card. As my need was pressing, I paid 30 dollars for a crap-o GeoForce 4 MX 440 only to find out I could get a card that was nearly the equal of my previous beast for the same amount via Newegg. Guess which place wouldn’t take a return? Jerks. And to top it off, Captain ‘My Machine Can Run Crysis in Full Resolution’ had the cheek to mock any gamer who had a Wii. Double jerks
