Last August, Science author and blogger Carl Zimmer put out a call for scientists to send in their tattoos, and it looks like the outpouring just never stopped.

Earlier this year, Zimmer created a stand-alone site ‘Carl Zimmer’s Science Tattoo Emporium‘ that continues to showcase some truly astounding (and clever) ink dedicated to various disciplines and concepts.
