Perfume – Inryoku

I’ll confess to being more than a little silly for J-Pop, but TV in Japan’s post about Perfume’s latest video left me pining for a full video for my single favorite J-Pop song ever: Inryoku, which I first discovered via this perennial favorite clip o’ mine (seriously, it’s the cutest thing ever) from waaaay back in April of 2005.

It took me ages to figure out the name of the song, not too mention track down an import copy of the Vitamin Drop EP (upon which it appears), but that’s just how much I dig the tune.

Since (as far as I can discover) there is no official video for the song, I’ll settle for this fan-made one. If you’re looking for the English lyrics, this ‘live’ clip has them subtitled over the Japanese lyrics.

And now that I’ve heard an acoustic version, I do believe I’ll obsess over figuring out how to play it so I can add it to my repertoire of ‘WTF’ covers.
