I could have sworn Transbuddha had done a bit on Tiny Ghosts prior to today, but apparently I’m mistaken. So without further ado, allow me to present Tiny Ghosts: an anonymous not-really-a-webcomic project for which the point is to tell stories in a mere two sentences.

Tiny Ghosts

While there is some humor to be found, most of the works are of a decidedly more bittersweet variety so don’t bust out your chuckle clothes just yet.

I really dig the photo composition in these, and the author seems to excel at finding the right balance between the photo subject and the story (even if more often than not your resulting thought is a sad ‘awww’).

reminds me a lot of A Softer World, but I think ASW is doing it a lot better

Aha! That must have been what I was thinking about. No wonder I thought I’d run it before..

I think there’s enough of a stylistic difference in the content (though admittedly, the format is strikingly similar) to judge them separately. Tiny Ghost seems much more morose than the more philosophical Softer World (at least, in my own opinion).

i was just about to mention a softer world. blast to being beaten to the punch.

    like ’em both, though..
