As ridiculous as Conservapedia’s irretreivably stupid attempt at discrediting the work of Richard Lenski’s recent E. Coli work may be, at least that came down to a fundamental argument (however misguided) over scientific principle and methodology. I can’t be as gracious regarding how Pixar’s latest work Wall-E is being received by a number of right-wing pundits and bloggers.

When no less than Glen Beck and Jonahs “I don’t understand the definition of Facism” Goldberg weigh in on the obviously insidious liberal overtones about a lonely robot on an abandoned planet, I’m forced to wonder if once again these free-thinkers are not in fact an exceptionally elaborate prank upon the world orchestrated from an Andy Kauffman like genius.

The first 45 min is an homage to Charlie Chapalin. A member of the comunist party and often fighter of the “The Man”. Perhaps this is where the extreme right is offended.
    *cough*
Or they are just looking for any excuse to complain about something.
