The Guild

Felicia Day, who you might recognize from Buffy the Vampire slayer or the upcoming Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (not to mention a particularly annoying Cheetos commercial), created The Guild series (after a 2 year stint of some hardcore World of Warcraft action) as a comedic way to take apart the traditional gamer stereotype.

Watch ‘The Guild – Episode One

Granted, there are more than enough gamer stereotypes to go around, and The Guild does a lovely job taking affectionate swipes at a number of them. All in a all a rather charming series that manages to hit more than it misses (especially if you are a bit of a WoW nerd).

Season One wrapped up at the end of June, so there’s 10 full episodes for you to enjoy.

That whole cast is so great. I really hope their DVD sells, because they’ve ponied up the time and talent on their own dime. I don’t know if it is released yet or not.
