in Comics!

Google ChromeSo Google’s new browser Chrome is available for download today. I’ve been playing with it most of the morning and I have to say: It touches me where my swimsuit goes. Firefox might have just met it’s match.

Get it.

If you’re curious as to what exactly makes Chrome so different, look no further the Scott McCloud power info-comic about Chrome that breaks down how Google decided to approach browsing from a new angle.

I’d love to read about this, but Google’s comic book auto-sizes itself to fit the screen window with a hefty margin…even when I ask my browser to zoom. The words are so small on my laptop that I can’t make them out. Oh well.

If anyone is having the same issue I had, the above link is MUCH easier to read.

i like it so far. not bad. also, the sense of humor the developers included in the instructions and help menus is fantastic.

I opened an incognito window, and they give you these warnings:

“Going incognito doesn’t affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
-Websites that collect or share information about you
-Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
-Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
    -Surveillance by secret agents
    -People standing behind you”

it doesn’t wanna play nice with my AOL webmail address book… won’t autocomplete. just keeps spitting out the word “undefined”

  • .alphamonkey.

I would think that qualifies as a feature. I mean, really… AOL?
