1,474 Megapixal photo of Inauguration

The following Inaugural photo is a mixture of 220 photos taken from the same location. By doing this, you can scan and zoom in on people to such a degree you can see the tears in their eyes and the smiles on their faces. Really cool tech.

    I’m a photographer for the military stationed in Maryland. You can actually see a buddy of mine in this picture. He was tasked to take photos of the inauguration and his standing in the middle of crowd of people sitting down in front of the president’s podium. He’s about 3/4ths the way back in that group with a red beret and a HUGE lens on his camera. He’s a kick ass photographer!

    Thanks… I spent a good 30 min playing with it. I teach government and my students loved exploring the photo.
