Imagine a world where a kindly old man lives for nothing more than to deliver sweet, delicious candy to young children. Now imagine a young girl whose insatiable lust for the sweet stuff is such that she consumes an almost endless buffet of candy, only stopping when her sick desire is sated for the briefest moment, at which point time and space themselves twisted and torn so that she may start her all-day candy binge anew.
Got that in your head? Good. Now go play Mr. Sweets, a deceptively addictive puzzler that makes you that sad, broken little girl’s enabler. The instructions are in Japanese, so we’ll just suss it out as best we can. Click on shapes to shove rows/columns about in the hopes that those displaced sweets will match, resulting in huge combos. Each matched set will result in filling the girl’s heart meter, which must be filled before the sun completes its track across the sky.
Truth be told you can pretty much click on random pieces to score at least a little combo action, but that’s how they hook you, man. THAT’S HOW THEY HOOK YOU!!!
