The future is here (at least in California)

I’m not usually one to get jealous of California (except when I step out of the door, like I did today, and got blasted in the face with both barrels of the Midwest winter), but I must confess I’m envious that the state’s residents are the only ones to be offered the opportunity to pre-order the Aptera 2 Series. Designed off the aerodynmaics of a bird the three-wheeled vehicle will be available in both a hybrid and all-electric model for somewhere between $20,000 and $40,000 in the not-too-distant future.

All I can say is the car of the future is here and I WANT ONE! Bring those bad boys to Kansas City and it will take about 3 seconds to drive one off the lot. Do you think it comes in yellow?

One of my coworkers paid the deposit and is on the list to be one of the first owners of one of these. I’ll take pics when his arrives.

Also the recaptcha below just asked me to type “lubricated Greek”.
