The same group who revamped the list of the 7 Wonders of the World (because the original sucked?!) has decided to create a list of seven more. Seeing how “The Fourteen Wonders of the World” is just slightly stupider than the entire Underwold series, this new list will be called “The Seven Wonders of Nature” and include only natural wonders (i.e. no Stuckey’s) from across the globe.
There are now 261 nominations spread across more than 222 countries (check out the full list by continent). The wonders, if you could possibly call them that, include a collection on national parks, mountain ranges, caves, valleys, rivers, lakes, and even holes in the ground. Discussion in the ‘buddha office about what we’d put on the list led to suggestions such as the KOA Campgrounds outside of Iola, Kansas, the creek in my backyard, the Bat-Cave, two-headed lizards, and the all-natural meh-ness of Scott Speedman.
