This little trailer got piqued the interest of both our pal Eric from Scene-Stealers and myself. Do we shape the cities in which we live or do they shape us? That’s the central question of Tokyo! a new film collecting three separate tales by Michel Gondry, Leos Carax, and Bong Joon-oh. If you enjoy the trailer you might want to check out the official site complete with gallery, links, downloads and more.

YESSSSS! New guy, i adore you.

The music behind this clip is “be good” by Tokyo Police Club, a canadian band i’ve been obsessed with for the past few years. I chased them all over the eastern seaboard and into canada before i finally saw them play in a church basement in Philadelphia the night the Phillies won the world series.
To this day, I don’t know where the confetti came from.
But those guys can put on a show.
