The eighties were indeed awesome. Whoever thought of boiling down the entirety of Robocop into a ten-minute rap deserves as much praise as I can muster on a Wednesday morning. I got a kick out of how the vid blends the actors’ lines into the rap (including one of our favorite movie quotes of all time). You can find more about the makers of the video here. Credit for bringing this little gem to out attention goes out to Dave and Thomas.

Now, for those of you needing more than this simple video, check out the ultimate in Robocop-themed awesomeness after the jump. I’ll forget all my concerns about the proposed remake of the franchise if it includes anything this cool. Add a mini-gun and I’ll buy my tickets right now!

So which one is your favorite movie quote, there’s a lot of good ones in there?

That’s kind of like asking Rob Gordon his favorite song.

The one I was referring to above is the baddie (played awesomely by the artist later known as Red Foreman) telling the hookers to get out. Two words: “Bitches, leave.”
