The Real Ghostbusters

The cartoon inspired by the feature film finds itself onto the DVD shelves today. The Real Ghostbusters ran from 1986 to 1991 on Saturday mornings and featured the further adventures of Egon, Venkman, Ray, and Winston (and Slimer). The new Complete Collection DVD set includes every episode of the show, plus twelve hours of bonus material, for the whopping cost of $180! Those not ready to drop that much cash might also consider Monsters vs. Aliens, The Brothers Bloom (which Eric liked more than me), and How I Met Your Mother: Season Four. I’m also curious to catch Sasha Grey’s mainstream debut in Steven Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience which I missed in theaters.
