Out of the night, when the full moon is bright

Most of today’s DVD releases are pretty darn underwhelming. You can probably pass on the “big” releases today such as G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra or I Love You, Beth Cooper (though I did enjoy the remake of The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3).

There are also some new special editions of Say Anything… and North by Northwest (but c’mon, if your a fan of either odds are you already got at least one of the previous releases on your shelf).

Instead let me suggest the old Disney b&w Zorro television series from the late 1950’s starring Guy Williams as the famous masked outlaw. The Complete First Season is a six-disc set includes all 39 episodes, and the Complete Second Season (also available today) includes the remaining 39 episodes of the show’s run in another six-disc set.
