Christopher Chance

I have to say Human Target has been a pleasant surprise. You can never be quite sure what you’ll get in a mid-season replacement, but this series about a mysterious body guard adapted from the Vertigo comic has been consistently good.

My only complaints had to do with the secrets the show had begun spilling as it’s first season neared its end. Imagine my surprise then when the season finale, which gives us all kinds of answers to our hero’s past, turns out to be one the show’s best. It also doesn’t hurt that this episode went all out in the guest-star department with Amy Acker (oh Fred!), Psych‘s Timothy Omundson, Armand Assante, and Lee Majors! Here’s a little of Mark Paul Valley with Acker, and the first appearance of Majors as “Christopher Chance.”
