    That would be funny, except that “complimentary” and “complementary” are two different words. That makes this a pun, which monkey will tell you (exhaustively) is not funny.

    And I’m teaching my kids multiplication by making them work out the compound interest I’m charging them for back rent. They learn multiplication, it gives them motivation to start working (preschool isn’t every day, after all), and they learn the derivation for Napier’s constant for free!
