With the recent success of The Expandables at the box office, it seems like one of the biggest action icons of modern film is back in a big way.

Scene-Stealers’ Trevan McGee uses his column Insomniac Movie Theater to explore the best and worst of late-night viewing, and that’s something you simply cannot do without seeing a lot of Stallone movies. Trevan writes:

As anyone who’s seen it can attest, 1987′s Over The Top is without a doubt the worst movie in Sylvester Stallone’s career–a career, mind you, that includes Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot and Judge Dredd. Read Insomniac Movie Theater: Over the Top.

Ha! What a coincidence. I just saw this flick the other night while I could not sleep. I fast forwarded past the shitty montages and the sappy “boo hoo I’m a rich spoiled little bitch” moments with his kid and it makes for a pretty fun 30 minute movie.

    (SPOILER ALERT!) Stallone wins
