Not exactly the Thunder God’s finest hour

For those who don’t remember (or chose to forget) Thor made a less than auspicious appearance in The Return of the Incredible Hulk way back in 1988. The Thunder God was played by Eric Allan Kramer and was controlled, to a limited extent, by Donald Blake (Steve Levitt) who kept him in the hammer like a genie. Those who want to look back nostalgically, in the grainy footage only YouTube video can provide, can find a little 80’s love after the jump.

Still one of my childhood favorites, and one of my earliest exposures to the Marvel version of Thor. Liked it so much as a kid, my brother and I made our dad make us wooden Thor hammers, and when he did it too generic looking, we showed him how to do it right. He wrapped the handles in leather, and painted runes on them. Good times. But no, that old Hulk special was serious cheese.
