In this video film critic Jim Emerson takes a shot-by-shot look at The Dark Knight‘s chase sequence. Some of his early points are a little nitpicky for my tastes, but I’ve got to admit he makes an intriguing argument about what he describes as puzzling editing that creates a confusing final product.

He makes good points. Most movie-goers will not even notice, but my OCD does. I never liked that part of the movie, it always felt awkward, and now I know why!

We should start a support group for nerds who don’t think Dark Knight is you know, perfect.
