The interwebs are all aflutter with the reveal of a piece of a commercial featuring Matthew Broderick reprising his role as Ferris Bueller. For all those who hoped this might mean a sequel is on its way I’m sorry to report that’s not the case. It’s a commercial. For Honda. But, as our good pal Bobby Bierley would say, this does beg the question – Would you actually want to see a Ferris Bueller’s Day Off sequel?

The Mob Rule story arc ends, although it looks like the character is going to stick around the New 52, as the Flash is able to stop Darwin Ellis‘ out of control experiment, to solve Mob Rule’s degeneration problem, from exploding and taking an entire Central City block with it.
