Holy crap, it’s Saturday! It’s also time for a Lo-Fi edition of The Four Color Freak-Out recorded with our pal Nick Mundy from Team Tiger Awesome, straight from the heart of Culver City, CA. We’re still talking about the Avengers (and you’re still going to see it apparently), how DC destroyed Nick’s comic dreams, and why Ben Reilly and Kyle Raynor are pretty much the same character (aka Brandon Walsh).

Oh, we manage to talk about comics this week as well! Listen now!

You knew we couldn’t quit you, babe, and you damn well knew there wasn’t a force on this Earth that would keep us from talking about The Avengers (which most of you know we caught earlier this week). Sweet flibbity jibbity, folks! Get your listen on for a triple dose of Aaron, Alan, and Trevon talking Avengers, the week’s best comics, and a little thing we call the most looked forward to event of the Summer. Aka Battleship the Game The Movie The Game.

Once again it’s time to FREAK OUT with Aaron and Alan as they take on the week in comics, the surprisingly fun John Carter, and a little thing called “life”. Listen now for our best of the week and of course whatever it is that’s pissing us off at the moment.

Fresh from our whirlwind tour of “near death”, Alan and Aaron return to the mics (along with special guest Trevan McGee) to talk about the end of Chuck! The genius of Adventure Time! The sadness of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance! Why Justice League #5 is the distilled failure of the New 52 in one comic, and of course, our favorite (and hated) comics o’ the week. BEGIN THE LISTENINGINGING.

Check it out below or bow to the turtleneck deities of iTunes!

Fired up on burgers and vodka, the boys take on this week in comics (and why we’re so in love with Mark Waid right now), DC’s new logo, the horrors of Rob Liefeld, and the wonder and glory of Ninjasaur, which you should go help fund via Kickstarter RIGHT THIS INSTANT.

Listen now or whenever you feel like it on iTunes!

And be sure to hit up the dadsbigplan Facebook page for some context around Bobby’s mind-boggling cap.

Clones! A whole mess o’ Avengers! X-titles galore! Bat-madness! Yup, it’s the week in comics and you’re invited to sit in as Aaron, Alan, and Bobby valiantly work past a food coma to bring you the best of the week. Listen now! Before it’s too late!

note: Pardon goofy audio weirdness. I have no idea what Garageband was up to last night, nor why it can’t possibly output the audio to our headphones at the same quality it’s recording. Arglebargle.

It’s that time again! Join Aaron, Alan, and Bobby as we mull over the merits (or lackthereof) of Star Wars The Old Republic MMORPG, the timeless appeal of Columbo, and of course the week in comics (powered by the majestic of Hamms, the beer refreshing!).

Boy howdy, folks! It’s the last episode of 2011, and once again our pal Bobby Beirley joins ‘monkey & the Cap’n (oh god, we sound like a porny morning drive-time show) to run through our favorite comics of the week, argue about Dark Knight Rises, and a little thing we like to call: The best damn comics of the year. And oh, yeah…we say some pretty awful stuff (again).

So get your listen on already! Stick around here or pull it on down via iTunes.

After a week off, we’re back for 2 weeks of comic-goodness! There’s a whole mess of great this week, and what could possibly be better than listen to two rambling fools tackle the pulls of the week?

But wait! There’s more! Aaron and Alan tackle Tintin, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, as well as weigh in on the trailer for a particular bat-themed vigilante.

Like total chumps we overlooked the release of Atomic Robo: The Ghost of Station X #4 (probably because the Cap’n & I are sad our dearest holiday wish for Atomic Robo figures has yet to see fruition), but holy crap: this is one of the best comics going this season, and if you’re not reading it you should be ashamed of yourself.

Many Bothans died to get us this podcast, so you should honor their sacrifice by listening below (or via iTunes)

We’re back! After a 2 week holiday/moving absence, the Four Color Freak-Out returns to talk about the best comics of the week (*cough* Moon Knight *cough*), reminding everyone that the Muppets are awesome, and why tuna casserole and beer is probably not the wisest pre-podcast meal. Listen now! (below or via iTunes)
