The Muppets take over Monday Night Raw

In case you missed it, Here’s the video of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy (and a few of their friends) from this past Monday’s episode of the WWE Raw. The Muppets were the special guests of the wrestling program to help promote their new film, The Muppets, which hits theaters on November 23rd. In part one Piggy and Kermit meet Vickie Guerrero, Jack Swagger, Santino Marella, and Kelly Kelly, and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker interact with Sheamus and Christian. Part two, which you will find after the jump, includes Piggy talking with John Morrison and Hornswaggle, and appearances by Fozzie Bear and Gonzo, Animal, and Statler and Waldorf.

We’ve shared with you a couple of these in the past like Hangover 2 parody and the romantic comedy parody, and now the Muppets are back with a pretty good parody of the trailer for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (you can find the original after the jump to compare).

Muppet Music Monday: My Morning Jacket – Our World / Andrew Bird – It’s Not Easy Being Green

To coincide with The Muppets Disney is set to release a new soundtrack of Muppet favorites entitled Muppets: The Green Album. Along with My Morning Jacket covering “Our World” (from Emmett Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas) and Andrew Bird‘s version of “It’s Not Easy Being Green” the album also includes OK Go doing their version of The Muppet Show Theme Song, The Fray doing “Mahna Mahna,” Rachael Yamagata covering “I’m Going to Go Back There Someday” (Gonzo’s song from The Muppet Movie), Alkaline Trio doing “Movin’ Right Along,” Matt Nathanson with “I Hope That Something Better Comes Along,” and Weezer covering “Rainbow Conenction.” The album hits stores next Tuesday.
