The Word Alone

Enjoy word puzzles? Then kiss your morning goodbye! The goal of The Word Alone is to isolate the letters A-L-O-N-E on the board. You can do this by spelling any valid word (of at least 3 characters) that appears over the entire board (the letters don’t have to be adjacent to spell your word). Pick the titles to spell out a word and then use the arrow keys to move some of the tiles off the side of the board.

I’ve got to admit this Batman Dark Knight Mini-Mezitz Tumbler looks kinda cool (even if we’re given only concept art rather than an actual pic). The 2′ Batman figure fits inside the Tumbler, with room for a second passenger, and can be yours for the relatively reasonable price of $28.

The second Annihilators mini-series ends more with a whimper than a bang. I thought the main story stayed more interesting this time around (even without the Silver Surfer), as the Avengers and Annihilators banded together to stop the return of the Magnus and the rise of the Universal Church of Truth.

Mighty God King has put together a fun collection of covers from Atari 2600 games which are a little more truthful than I remember.

The latest issue of Secret Avengers opens with the deaths of Steve Rogers, Agent 13, and War Machine. To save her friends the Black Widow activates an “Escape Hatch” (a small time machine) which takes her five years into the past to begin planning a way to avert the catastrophe which took the lives of three of her teammates.
