Now that’s more like it. After being horribly disappointed with Convergence: Batgirl #1 I was feeling less and less sure about DC’s new big event centering on battles between previous versions of characters not found in the current New 52 DCU. Convergence: Speed Force #1 gives us Wally West back in action as the Flash and his kids Jai and Iris.

Taken from Robot Chicken‘s DC Comics Special (which I finally got around to watching the other night) here’s the show making me extremely happy with an Amazing Zoo Crew sketch (which teaches Batman and Superman a valuable lesson never to invite Hal Jordan to accompany them on somber occasions – especially where talking animals are involved).

I’ve enjoyed several of the odd team-ups that Super-Team Family: The Lost Issues have put together, and when they decided to do one with Captain Carrot you know I had to share it with all of you. I’ll also agree with the blog that Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew would be perfect for DC Nation’s animated shorts, or even their own animated series (think Justice League meets Tiny Toon Adventures).

With DC Comics reboot of their entire universe with 52 new first issues now underway I continue to take a look at what I would do if I rebooted the DCU.

Where I could I kept ideas DC wanted to explore in the relaunch (when not incredibly stupid like Voodoo), and even included titles I’m personally not all that high on but characters I know have a devoted fan base. You’ll find I’ve also kept far more of the current titles than DC’s proposed reboot, and brought back a few personal favorites as well.
