DC Collectibles’ list of 2015 releases includes the first-ever action-figure sized Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series. Able to fit two of the new BtAS action figures, the Batmobile also features lights and sliding roof access.
Okay, this is the most impractical phone case I’ve ever seen, but that doesn’t mean this Dark Knight Tumbler iPhone Case isn’t kinda cool.
This Pop! Vinyl 1966 Batmobile is now available for pre-order and can be yours for the low, low price of $25.
Okay, this may not be quite as impressive as Sideshow Collectibles’ Sixth Scale Batmobile, but for less than 10% of the price Hot Wheels’ die-cast replica of the 1989 Batmobile it’s still pretty cool (and far less likely to break your bank account with the low, low price of $60).
Who is Jerry Patrick you ask? Well, he’s just a nerd with a little too much time and money on his hand who wisely uses both to create replicas of famous cars from movies and television that include Herbie the Love Bug, KITT, the Mystery Machine, and Tim Burton’s version of the Batmobile. Well done sir, and could I persuade you to throw your talents behind a replica of Condorman’s Nova Sterling?
Celebrating the awesome that is Batman, Eaglemoss Publications is putting out a series of the Dark Knight’s favorite mode of transportation over the years – the Batmobile. “Each Batmobile die-cast vehicle comes with a unique 3-D lenticular backdrop that creates a detailed scene of the Dark Knight and his vehicle. Featuring additional metal castings for extra detail, including gadgets, each vehicle also comes with an informative 12-page magazine that looks at the history of the vehicle – and Batman himself.” Each 1:43 scale Batmobile can be yours for the low, low price of $20 a piece.
Fans of the old Batman TV-show take note that Mezco Toyz is putting out a new version of the show’s Batmobile complete with Adam West Batman and Burt Ward Robin. The collectible won’t ship until later this summer, but you can pre-order it for $30. I’ve got The Dark Knight Tumbler version on my office desk, which I’ll admit is pretty damn cool (even if the wheels on the damn thing were inexplicably made to not turn).
When lintly and Shadow told us they were going to go halfsies on on their very own Batmobile we were skeptical, but we must admit this design fits them perfectly.
