30 years ago Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore stepped out of the shadows to save New York City from ghosts, a nice woman who turned into a dog, and a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Brent Waller thinks it’s about time LEGO honored the film with a commemorative LEGO set and more than 10,000 supporters agree which means if rights can be worked out you might see some actual Ghostbusters LEGOs like these on the shelves some time in the future.
Hot Wheels has announced the the old school Cylon Raider will join their boatload of retro TV and movie vehicles which includes K.I.T.T. & K.A.R.R., the Ecto 1, the Mystery Machine, a time traveling DeLorean, the Bandit’s 1977 Pontiac Firebird, Stroker Ace’s T-Bird Stock Car, T.C.’s Island Hopper helicopter, Cameron Frye’s Ferrari 250 California, and more. The 1978 Cylon Raider will make its debut a this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
