Can we borrow like a gazillion dollars? Honestly, it’s for a good cause. We swear. The Lotus Esprit Series 1 ‘Submarine’ Car from The Spy Who Loved Me is going up for auction at RM Auctions’ forthcoming London sale on September 8-9, and we really, really need it.

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to use lazer guns in space. Okay, so Moonraker isn’t the brightest moment in James Bond’s career (although it’s hardly the worst). Still, fans of the film may be interested in this limited edition Moonraker Laser Prop Replica designed off the original props used in the film. Each replica comes complete with “a museum quality display stand, numbered limited edition plaque, COA, and detailed prop story booklet,” and “a full color box designed to emulate the distinctive ‘Drax Enterprise Corp’ shipping crates seen in the film.” And it can all be yours for the low, low price of $300.

So you say you’re a big Bond fan? Then maybe this James Bond Goldfinger Tracking Devices LE Prop Replica is for you. Both the large and small 1:1 scale metal models include the “pull-out arming mechanism with electronic sound.” It’s certainly a unique piece, but it will set you back a pretty penny as each of the limited edition replicas is priced at $380.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Quantum of Solace which I felt stayed far too focused on the fallout of the first movie in the reboot James Bond franchise without moving our new version of British Secret Agent James Bond (Daniel Craig) forward. Skyfall certainly isn’t a perfect Bond film, in fact it may be the first of the franchise that I’ve enjoyed without liking its choice of villain. However, it does make a concerted effort to blend in elements of the classic Bond franchise with the new version making it feel, really for the first time, that James Bond is truly back.

$60 is a high price tag for basically eight Hot Wheels, but you’ve got to admit this James Bond 007 Miniature Vehicles Set is pretty damn cool. The set, which comes in a film can, includes the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger, the BMW Z3 from GoldenEye, the Aston Martin DBS from Casino Royale, the Little Nellie from You Only Live Twice, the Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day, the Rolls Royce III from Goldfinger, the Space Shuttle from Moonraker, and the (supremely awesome) Lotus Esprit Underwater from The Spy Who Loved Me.

Car Tech‘s Brian Cooley takes a look at the infuriating and overpriced Aston Martin Vantage, a sleek looking car that James Bond wouldn’t be caught dead in.
