Brian Clevenger, the guy who writes the comic we like to refer to as Atomic Robo, has a new project he’s hoping to get off the ground. Even though it doesn’t include an appearance by an atomic-powered science-adventuring robot built by Nikola Tesla, we thought you might still like to know. Head over here for more information about the series, Kickstarter rewards, and to donate to see “The X-Files meets China” in print.

Beth Riesgraf (Leverage‘s PARKER!) and Erika Christensen are looking for a little help to get their new sci-fi reality-TV parody Project Moonbase off the ground. The show involves a mix of scientists and reality-TV show rejects living on the moon when “the moon is knocked out of earth’s orbit and into an uproarious sci-fi odyssey. Humanity’s least deserving ambassadors will meet alien cultures, tackle reality TV tropes and contend with zero gravity toilets.”

With the permission of Warner Bros., show creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell are looking for fan support to help pull off a Veronica Mars movie just in time for Ms. Mars 10th high school reunion. If the $2,000,000 goal is reached Thomas plans to go into production as soon as schedule conflicts allow and have the movie available for release by summer of next year. Head here for more information, read the heartfelt thanks from Bell to all the show’s fans, and to pledge your support.

UPDATE: The film raised their $2 million goal in less than 11 hours, shattering all Kickstarter records but is still accepting donations to maximize the ability to put out the best film possible.

The Adventures of Aero-Girl is a “modern Golden-Age story of a teen superhero dealing with the death of her hero father with the help of a super-powered gorilla.” C’mon, doesn’t that sound like something you’d be willing to support? The proposed all-ages project from DeWayne Feenstra, Axur Eneas, Juan Pablo Riebeling, and Adam Wollet is a “gateway comic that can introduce young readers to the medium, and for it to be something lapsed readers, who gave up on the ‘dark and gritty’ comics, can use to reignite their passion.” You can check out more information about the project and pledge your support here.

Boobs and guns, is there any better way to invest your money? Ghost Dive, a planned feature length movie starring several of America’s best cosplayers set in the near future around an all female hacker-ring, is looking for some Kickstarter support. The project is looking to raise $60,000 by August 20th and for those willing to donate upwards of $500 they could even find themselves included in the final cut of the film as their own custom-made character. The cast of the film includes Jessie Graff, Valerie Perez, Anna Perilo, Vera Vanguard, Ruby Leigh Young, Ginny McQueen, Kat Steel, Riddle, and Susan Smythe.
