Wakey wakey, Bladerunner! It’s time to FREAK-OUT over Pixar’s Brave, the meh-fest that was Prometheus, the return of Stephanie Brown (kinda), a whole mess of AvX, and a look back at the books that’ve pissed us off this summer! We’re even sober! Get your listen on before some a-hole tells you not to see Brave (because they are wrong. WRONG. WRONG. WRONG.)

You knew we couldn’t quit you, babe, and you damn well knew there wasn’t a force on this Earth that would keep us from talking about The Avengers (which most of you know we caught earlier this week). Sweet flibbity jibbity, folks! Get your listen on for a triple dose of Aaron, Alan, and Trevon talking Avengers, the week’s best comics, and a little thing we call the most looked forward to event of the Summer. Fresh from our whirlwind tour of “near death”, Alan and Aaron return to the mics (along with special guest Trevan McGee) to talk about the end of Chuck! The genius of Adventure Time! The sadness of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance! Why Justice League #5 is the distilled failure of the New 52 in one comic, and of course, our favorite (and hated) comics o’ the week. BEGIN THE LISTENINGINGING.

Boy howdy, folks! It’s the last episode of 2011, and once again our pal Bobby Beirley joins ‘monkey & the Cap’n (oh god, we sound like a porny morning drive-time show) to run through our favorite comics of the week, argue about Dark Knight Rises, and a little thing we like to call: The best damn comics of the year. And oh, yeah…we say some pretty awful stuff (again).
So get your listen on already! Stick around here or pull it on down via iTunes.

After a week off, we’re back for 2 weeks of comic-goodness! There’s a whole mess of great this week, and what could possibly be better than listen to two rambling fools tackle the pulls of the week?
But wait! There’s more! Aaron and Alan tackle Tintin, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, as well as weigh in on the trailer for a particular bat-themed vigilante.
Like total chumps we overlooked the release of Atomic Robo: The Ghost of Station X #4 (probably because the Cap’n & I are sad our dearest holiday wish for Atomic Robo figures has yet to see fruition), but holy crap: this is one of the best comics going this season, and if you’re not reading it you should be ashamed of yourself.
Many Bothans died to get us this podcast, so you should honor their sacrifice by listening below (or via iTunes)

We’re back! After a 2 week holiday/moving absence, the Four Color Freak-Out returns to talk about the best comics of the week (*cough* Moon Knight *cough*), reminding everyone that the Muppets are awesome, and why tuna casserole and beer is probably not the wisest pre-podcast meal. Listen now! (below or via iTunes)
As you might have guessed, the Freak-Out is taking a break this week to utilize our trademark snark and vinegar in a more traditional manner: Sniping at family as we dig in on our Thanksgiving dinner. But while this was a somewhat light week for comics, I thought I’d go ahead and share my picks o’ the week. So take a break from self-loathing and turkey hangovers to wander through the best comics of the week!
