London artist Des Taylor has put together some terrific magazine covers for the fictional magazine Live which would cover “stories surrounding the people in and around the heroes of yesteryear.” Very, very cool.

Was Batgirl the first Booster Gold? In the 60’s I guess it was appropriate to expect to get paid for saving lives and even lecture those in mortal danger about equal pay before attempting to, you know, save them from an explosion.

With Batman near death the Phantom Stranger assembles Robins throughout time to save the Dark Knight Detective. Dick Grayson (in his original Nightwing costume), Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Damian, and Carrie Kelly are all brought together to save their partner.

Sadly, and much too soon, Damian‘s days with the Teen Titans come to an end. Sigh.

The second-half of the Red Robin crossover finds the Titans with a whole mess of Calculator androids to take down, robots to fight, and a super-villain to defeat.

Better watch out Damian, you wouldn’t want Red Robin to find out you got saved by Supergirl. Although I’m still on the fence with Bernard Chang‘s art, I’m always glad to see a team-up with Supergirl and Robin. I can hardly wait until Batgirl gets brought in to this story arc and the fun can really begin.
