she’s always a woman to me

A Tribute To Catwoman – Batman TAS

I know that’s almost sacrilege to propose such a point in this day an age, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. Every now and then I stop by IMDB’s Top 250 Movies and check out if the list has changed. Recently I noticed that one of my all-time favorites Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb was #30 on the list. Wondering why, I examined the votes for the film and here’s what I found:

Women under the age of 18 and over the age of 45, in large numbers, have, all by themselves, lowered the movie’s overall score. On a lark, I decided to compare women of the same age on a relentlessly bad romcom chosen at random: 27 Dresses. Guess what I found? That’s right, women of the same age group collectively preferred the later!

So why are pre and post menstrual women collectively hating on Stanely Kubrick’s war satire? Inquiring minds want to know!
