Here is a bizarre homemade video set to a a song of an equally bizarre band – The Frogs.

And no for something completely different, here’s El Guincho (AKA Spanish “space-age exotica” musician Pablo Díaz-Reixa) with the music video for “Bombay” from his latest album Pop Negro. Odd and kinda cool, but a little NSFW due to various naked lady parts.

The a capella version of Kylie Minogue’s “All The Lovers” is set to the beat of Huey Lewis and the News’ “The Power of Love” in this mashup from Maxi Jo and Jarod Ripley, with plenty of Back to the Future clips thrown in for good measure.

File this one under “WTF were they thinking?” From first time writer/director/cinematographer/producer Marc Vorlander (um…that’s an awfully lot of firsts?) comes this four-minute completely bat-shit crazy NSFW clip for the upcoming Showgirls sequel (sans any of the “talent” involved in the first one), Showgirls Exposed. Words won’t do this justice, watch. And then muse on the fact that $20-25 million was spent to make the movie.

Last night’s MTV Movie Awards spent most of the night honoring Twilight: New Moon (see the full list of winners), but there were a couple moments of interest. I’m not sharing this because one of the characters uses the phrase “okie-dokie-karaoke.” (Okay, I’m not only sharing it for that reason.) From the mind of Bryan Joseph O’Sullivan comes this cute animated short about two young detectives encountering all kinds of strangeness while searching for a missing cat.

We think this is a trailer for the upcoming Jonah Hex (based on the DC Comics character), though we are confused as to why the old western bounty hunter now seems to be blessed with supernatural powers and the ability to bring people back from the dead.* The film stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, and Megan Fox as “a gun-wielding prostitute.” Yeah… Anyway, the film is set to hit theaters on June 18.

*alphamonkey wasn’t able to watch the entire thing without throwing feces at the screen (but, then again, the screen had it coming)

I honestly don’t know what the point of Untsuku is, but it is a cute little puzzle flash game which will waste as much of your afternoon as you let it.

With the glut of biopics in recent years doesn’t it seem strange we haven’t gotten one for Weird Al Yankovic? The folks at Funny or Die think so and have stepped up to fill the need.
