super bowl ad

Brazilian super-model Adriana Lima made appearances in two commercials last night to remind us that she’s still an incredibly sexy woman. I think the spots were trying to promote products as well. Flowers and cars, maybe? Here’s the first, and you’ll find the second commercial after the jump.

MetLife squeezes as many classic Hanna-Barbara characters as they can get into this commercial from last night’s Super Bowl. Sure we knew He-Man and Scooby-Doo would be included in something like this, but it’s nice to see Jabberjaw and Grape Ape making the cut as well.

Clint Eastwood is in full grizzled mode in this halftime spot from last night’s Super Bowl from Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler. As the commercial asks for the country to come together in a time of national crisis I’m gonna guess Republicans are going to hate the ad for its evil communist/socialist/terrorist message. Hell, its something Obama might say!

On a completely separate note, I’ve got to agree with the Human Scorch, if they decide to make a live-action Batman Beyond movie the role of Bruce Wayne is already cast.

The interwebs are all aflutter with the reveal of a piece of a commercial featuring Matthew Broderick reprising his role as Ferris Bueller. For all those who hoped this might mean a sequel is on its way I’m sorry to report that’s not the case. It’s a commercial. For Honda. But, as our good pal Bobby Bierley would say, this does beg the question – Would you actually want to see a Ferris Bueller’s Day Off sequel?

UPDATE: The full commercial has been released online. You can find it after the jump.
