wander over yonder

wander-over-yonder-the-flower

Even the most optimistic person in the galaxy loses hope sometimes. In final episode before the Season Two finale, it’s Sylvia‘s (April Winchell) job to instill some hope in Wander (Jack McBrayer) by attempting to save a single flower in a broken and destroyed galaxy. However, when every attempt to save the plant (including translating it to a variety of worlds) all which turn out to be disastrous, especially once Dominator (Noël Wells) decides to crush the pair and destroy the flower, it’s all she can do to keep her best friend from breaking down in tears. Like most of the show’s best episodes, there’s a great lesson in “The Flower” behind the amusing antics of our heroes. Despair doesn’t mean the absence of hope, and life (even in the cruelest of conditions) usually finds a way.

wander-over-yonder-the-robomechabotatron

Voltron fans should go crazy for “The Robomechabotatron.” Seeking anything to stop Dominator‘s (Noël Wells) destruction of the galaxy leads both Wander (Jack McBrayer) & Sylvia (April Winchell) and Lord Hater (Keith Ferguson) & Peepers (Tom Kenny) to seek out the legendary unstoppable Mecha known as Robomechabotatron. Realizing that all four of them will have to work together to properly operate the giant robot doesn’t stop Hater and Peepers from working against Sylvia. Eventually realizing that Dominator is the greater threat, everyone agrees to work together… except Wander (who has objections to fighting).

wander-over-yonder-the-sky-guy

While searching for a weapon to stop Dominator (Noël Wells) from destroying the galaxy, Wander (Jack McBrayer) and Sylvia (April Winchell) visit the shop of the wizard Neckbeard (Seth Morris) where Wander becomes instantly fascinated with an entire planet of little Bitties living inside one of Neckbeard’s artifiacts. Unable to leave the globe alone, as both Neckbeard and Sylvia order him to do. Wander continues to watch the Bitties eventually causing havoc both in the Bitties world (who go to war over their worship of the giant man in the sky) and the magic shop (when Neckbeard finds out what he’s done). Choosing to save the Bitties universe rather than their own, Wander and Sylvia continue their wanderings while searching for something to stop Dominator and save the galaxy.

wander-over-yonder-the-sick-day

When Wander (Jack McBrayer) gets sick, Sylvia (April Winchell) struggles to get her best friend to take it easy and rest while attempting to take care of his long list of chores which include hitting Lord Hater‘s (Keith Ferguson) snooze button and preventing the universe from coming to an end. “The Sick Day” has a simple premise of Wander learning how to let someone else help him for a change (although it takes quite a bit of his increasingly sickly attempts to help for the message to finally sink in). As for Sylvia, she proves capable of stepping in to Wander’s shoes (although she is quite surprised by the number of regular duties her best friend performs without her).

wander-over-yonder-the-night-out

In another life Sylvia (April Winchell) and Dominator (Noël Wells) might have been great friends (well, if Dominator knew what friends really were). Bored while waiting for her army of destruction to update their software, Dominator sneaks out disguised looking for a little fun. To her surprise she finds it hanging out with Sylvia. With Wander (Jack McBrayer) off helping the little guy, the two women enjoy a night out together… at least until Dominator’s need to control and/or destroy everything comes between the pair.

wander-over-yonder-the-hot-shot

Wander (Jack McBrayer) and Sylvia (April Winchell) have opposite reactions to a new hero on the scene. Clad a stupid hat and scarf atop a suspiciously-colored motorcycle, Sylvia can’t help but think there’s something awfully familiar about our new hero’s look. Meanwhile, Wander is enraptured watching the stranger save multiple planets from Dominator‘s robots.

wander-over-yonder-the-black-cube
