WANT

Bryan Q. Miller, the mastermind behind the best damn Batgirl comic ever, still needs a little help in getting Earthward (his proposed collaboration with Marcio Takara set in the far future about a motley crew of six space exploring scientists on a lonely quest for a shining planet known as Earth) off the ground. You can help support (and learn more about the project) here. Sounds like a mix between Isaac Asimov’s Foundation and Earth, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and Titan A.E. And you know what, that sounds pretty damn awesome to us, so head over to Kickstarter and let’s make this happen!

*Ring’s ability to work on the color yellow not guaranteed.

For those who don’t remember, back in the magical Neal Adams Batman days (not to be confused with the current Neal Adams Batman days) when Batman removed his gloves, cape, and cowl he was left with pretty damn sweet Batman sweatshirt that I still envy.

Ladies and gents, I give the most impressive LEGO Bat Cave ever built by a former professional model maker and his pal. Built from more than 20,000 LEGOs, and weighing 100lbs., the roof of the Cave is removable allowing you to break the impressive creation into three separate pieces. Carlyle Livingston II and Wayne Hussey, you are our new heroes. Now when can we get you over to the office to create one for us? Head over to Flickr for more pics.

This massive LEGO Serenity created by Adrian Drake consists of 70,000 pieces and weighs in around 135lbs. The outer detail is impressive, but the inside is just as cool with bunks for all the characters, the bridge (including Wash’s toy dinosaur), and the commissary.

Very, very cool.

Check out tons of more pics here. Thanks to our Freak-Out pal Bobby for the heads up!
